Fall Festival
Oct 24th

Well the Pole Green Fall Festival was a success! I was able to sell a few items and hand out a few business cards. My man, T, was such a big help and never once complained about having the hang out with Mom for hours on end. The weather was great and the traffic was pretty steady. Sales weren’t through the roof or anything but I wasn’t expecting too much. Most families were there to play games with their kids, not shop. My table was certainly easy to set up. I had taken a 2′ x 4′ board and covered it with batting and black velvet (like making a message board). Then I took a couple frames 12″ x 12″ and inserted cork to place the earrings on. I wasn’t sure I would be hanging them or haying them out. Then I covered the table with an inexpensive tablecloth and some Fall decorations.
All in all it was a great first show experience!
LINC Purse
Oct 14th
Well, I haven’t had much time to post. Sorry! Been a bit busy with home renovations and jewelry making.
Can’t wait to get some things out in our etsy shop. I hope that will happen this week.
I did find time amidst the chaos around here to paint this purse for LINC. I figured a Richmond Skyline scene would be appropriate! They will be holding a handbag silent auction in Richmond on November 1st with the proceeds going to help cancer patients by providing legal assistance. If you have a chance to check out their site you’ll see some awesome purses (in their News & Events section).
